Our Organisation
Bharat Sevashram Sangha was founded in 1917 by the patriot-saint Acharya Swami Pranavanandaji Maharaj, as a spiritual and service-oriented organisation dedicated to seva, education and disaster relief. The founder's own connection to Prayagraj (then Allahabad) dates back to 1924, when he took his formal monastic vows (sanyas) here during the historic Allahabad Kumbh Mela.
The Prayagraj centre carries forward this legacy of service and spiritual hospitality for pilgrims and visitors to the city.
